Portfolio

The Interstate Mining & Development portfolio includes currently ongoing mining operations within the Soa and Gbane
Chiefdoms in the Kono District of the eastern province in the Republic State of Sierra Leone.
The specific sites are Tamaye, Sunja and Dumboyee, IMD’s holdings in these areas total over 534 Sq km.
A new IMD Kimberlite claim in the Tonkoro Chiefdom spans over 112 Sq km.
IMD’s portfolio also includes several smaller claims for alluvial diamonds in the Nimikoro Chiefdom.

Mining operations are underway to recover the significant gold and silver deposits as well as other precious minerals from the Alluvial deposits at the primary site areas through Placer mining.

IMD has recently purchased a gold wash plant MRS-100 which has an efficiency rate of 95%.
The plant will be located in the periphery of the village of Giehun and will soon be operational.
A second plant is planned for purchase which will provide double the input of the MRS-100 .

IMD’s portfolio includes over 6 million dollars in heavy earth moving equipment.

To maintain this high level of separation from clay, sand, gravel and heavy minerals ( Black Sand ), a monitoring procedure will be installed to analyze the tailings regularly for residual gold values, also in the Black sand fraction.

No chemical treatments are planned to recover gold that is refractory to washing.

The purely mechanical process of washing saves costs and is environmentally friendly.
